Jason Ader possesses 20 years of experience investing in consumer and real estate industries, acting as an investor and fund manager in those sectors. In addition, he has frequently appeared on CNBC, providing equity forecasting tips to viewers and participating in panel discussions. He has co-hosted the afternoon program “Strategy Session” a number of times. Jason Ader has received much recognition for his investment skills, including rankings among the top analysts from Institutional Investor magazine nine years in a row.

In 2003, Jason Ader founded Ader Investment Management, an investment firm where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and sole member. As CEO of Ader Investment Management, he values strong, long term client relationships. Ader Investment Management was formed to identify undervalued companies at an inflection point in their long term growth and evaluating whether they are good long term “longs” or “shorts.” Ader Investment Management has a strong emphasis on risk management, focusing on generating low-correlation alpha with managed downside risk.

In 2009, Mr. Ader and several associates founded a real estate and consumer merchant bank called Ader Capital Partners LLC. Seeking dislocated markets, Jason Ader and his partner currently invest their own funds, along with those of third-party investors, at this firm.

In conjunction with his work with Ader Investment Management, Jason Ader founded Reunion Hospitality Trust, Inc., a REIT that launched a $250-million IPO. He also sits on the Board of Western Liberty Bancorp, a financial institution bank holding company based in Nevada. Conducting operations through Service1st Bank of Nevada, Western Liberty offers a full range of services, including commercial real estate loans, basic commercial and consumer depository services, and commercial working capital and equipment loans. Also a Board Member of the Las Vegas Sands Corp., Jason Ader proudly serves a company that owns three Las Vegas properties, three Macau properties, a Singapore property, and a property in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Jason N. Ader has been our Executive Chairman since the formation of Reunion Hospitality. Mr. Ader founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of our sponsor, HCAM, a New York-based investment management firm. In 2009, Mr. Ader also co-founded, with Mr. Silvers, Hayground Cove Capital Partners LLC, a merchant bank focused on the real estate and consumer sectors. Mr. Ader is also a director of Western Liberty Bancorp, a new bank holding company that owns Service1st Bank of Nevada. He was the Chairman of its board of directors from inception through October 2010, and was its Chief Executive Officer from December 2008 to October 2010. Mr. Ader is also Chairman of the board of directors of India Hospitality Corp., which owns flight catering, hotel and restaurant businesses in India, and was, from inception until December 2008, its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ader also currently sits on the board of directors of the Las Vegas Sands Corp. Prior to founding HCAM in early 2003, Mr. Ader was a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., from 1995 to 2003, where he performed equity and high yield research in the gaming, lodging and leisure industries. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Ader served as a Senior Analyst in Equity Research at Smith Barney. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Ader served as a buy-side analyst at Baron Capital. Mr. Ader was rated as one of the top ranked analysts by Institutional Investor Magazine for nine consecutive years from 1994 to 2002. Mr. Ader has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from New York University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business. Mr. Ader was selected to serve as our Executive Chairman due to his extensive experience and network of relationships in the real estate, gaming and hospitality industries.
