Jason De Bord is a licensed Broker-Associate responsible for marketing and business operations and management for The DeBord Group. Jason has worked as a REALTOR® helping clients buy and sell homes for several years, first with RE/MAX Gold and currently with ERA Realty Center.

Jason also manages the Original Prop Blog, LLC, a weblog launched in early 2007. The Original Prop Blog, Original Prop Community, and Original Prop Directory are free resources made available to anyone involved in the collection, sale, and preservation of original props, costumes, and other assets used in the productions of film and television. This is all provided in an effort to help shape and grow the hobby and assist people in learning about movie props and to network with other collectors and businesses involved in these pursuits.

Previously, Jason served as Chief Operations Officer of The Broadband Group (TBG) for six years. A founding member of the firm, Jason helped to establish TBG as a telecommunications and technology consulting firm serving master planned communities, developers, home builders, and municipalities throughout the United States. Jason worked on over 100 projects spanning many companies and organizations.

Prior to The Broadband Group, Jason co-founded the Operations and Compliance division for All Student Loan Group, a non-profit public benefit corporation in Los Angeles. Jason also served as a Media Relations Manager for American Cybercast, an Account Manager for Proctor & Gamble, and also retained positions with Rand-Fields and SVI Inc.

Jason holds a Bachelor’s of Art Degree in English from California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Communication Arts from Loyola Marymount University. He is also a licensed Broker with the California Department of Real Estate.

Jason currently serves on the Board of Directors for C.A.R.E. (Catastrophic Aid for Real Estate), a 501©(3) non-profit organization that provides financial aid in the form of grants and other services to qualifying parties employed in the real estate industry who suffer from catastrophic circumstances (see www.caregives.org).

Jason also donates time and effort to the El Dorado County Associate of REALTORS® “Backpacks for Kids” program. This group creates fundraisers and buys material and accepts donated material to put together age and gender specific backpacks for children in El Dorado County, which are used by Child Protective Services to ease the trauma of children who are relocated as a result of a variety of circumstances beyond their control (see www.edcar4kids.com).

Jason works diligently with his family, mother Kathie, father Mike, and sister Michelle to provide personalized service. Jason works with sellers in listing their properties for sale, including listing agreements, preparation of other contracts, marketing, photography, and producing other print collateral. Jason also works with buyers in finding new homes and other properties, including vacant land to build their dream home as well as investment properties.
