Jason Tan graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. His passion (and current job) is developing web sites and applications (primarily using PHP and MySQL). Jason began his web development career by running a one-man web design, hosting, and programming firm in his spare time. He now works full time for Sitening, a technology-focused web design and search marketing company in Nashville. He has also implemented and conducted numerous research studies with middle school students involving artificially intelligent computer-based learning programs with the Teachable Agents Group at Vanderbilt.
