Attorney / Shareholder – Brennan Caron Lenehan & IacopinoDunbarton, New HampshireJaye Rancourt has actively participated in the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division for several years. In 2008, Rancourt held the position of Affiliate Director, supporting groups of young lawyers across the United States. The following year, Jaye Rancourt became an Administrative Director for the organization. Rancourt also belongs to the New Lawyers’ Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. As a philanthropist, Jaye Rancourt works with HEAR in New Hampshire, serving on the Board of Trustees for the charity. Rancourt enjoys cycling in her leisure time and now lives in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. Jaye Rancourt graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Elmira College in New York, focusing on criminal justice and psychology. During her undergraduate years, Rancourt received both a Presidential Honor Scholarship and the Iris Leadership Scholarship in recognition of her academic success. For her Juris Doctor, Jaye Rancourt attended the University of Maine School of Law in Portland. Rancourt made the Dean’s list twice in her educational career and completed a summer fellowship with the Maine Association for Public Interest Law. Beginning her career as an Attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender, Jaye Rancourt defended clients charged with felonies and misdemeanors in the superior and district courts. Rancourt also worked with interns and coordinated with investigation teams. While serving the New Hampshire Public Defender, Jaye Rancourt served clients in more than twenty trials involving a jury.
