Best known as the creator and webmaster of jeffpickens.com, the World’s Greatest Website, Jeff Pickens is widely-read blogger on a variety of topics, as well as a prolific YouTube videographer, having produced over 50 videos that have been watched and enjoyed by viewers all over the world. Jeff is involved in volunteer work and fund raising for many charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon. He is also an avid vegetable gardener and cook, specializing in growing tomatoes and cooking barbecue and chili. A native of Jersey City, Jeff now resides in Gloucester County, NJ.

On Sunday, July 12th, I will be riding my bike or volunteering along the route to fight cancer. This year marks the 37th year for the Annual American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon. The goal is to surpass $2 million dollars and I am excited about my part in making that happen.

Ronald McDonald House of SNJ provides a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill and traumatically injured children who are being treated at nearby hospitals and operates Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across the Southern New Jersey region.

There are many ways to become an Alumni Ambassador, such as:
* Referring your friends, relatives or co-workers to Thomas Edison State College to complete their degree
* Advocating on behalf of the College and/or higher education
* Helping to set up a meeting with your company’s human resources department
* Talking about your Thomas Edison State College experience in an online forum
* Helping us identify potential corporate partners
* Providing a testimonial the College can use in its marketing materials
* Talking to the media about your experience at the College
* Partnering with key College staff to promote academic programs within your industries
