Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, Jeffery Stone went on to become a highly established and successful executive, serving in top positions with numerous distinguished financial institutions nationwide. Jeff Stone began his career as the Senior Vice President with Prudential Securities. Stone continuously produced impressive annual production numbers, proving quickly his capabilities and effective leadership skills. He was thus appointed to serve on the Directors’ Council for the corporation. Subsequent to his role at Prudential Securities, Jeff Stone accepted the title of First Vice President with Lehman Brothers, where he held a seat on the Chairman’s Council again, based on his notable annual production and performance. Jeff Stone upheld duties both on the institutional and retail side of the markets with Lehman Brothers, including portfolio management for institutional and high-net worth individuals. Stone ranked in the top 25% of the firm’s workforce. In 2003, Jeff Stone co-founded an investments and consulting firm called Wakabayashi Fund LLC in Tokyo, Japan, where he serves as Advisor, diligently handling a variety of multifaceted financial dealings. In addition to trading the firm’s proprietary capital, Jeff Stone directs the company’s Hedge Fund and Portfolio Management sectors, where his duties include business valuation, corporate finance, and institutional sponsorship activities. Furthermore, Stone is the driving force behind developing new investments for the firm and negotiating transaction documentation. Jeff Stone is an active member of the International Association of Financial Planning, the American Chamber of Commerce Finance Association Japan, the National Institute of Investor Relations, the European Private Equity Association, the Alternative Investment Management Association, the North American Private Equity Association, and the Asia Private Equity Association. Jeff Stone currently resides in Tokyo with his wife and two children.
