Currently working as an attorney in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jeff Armington received his undergraduate education in the same city, earning his Bachelor of Science from The University of Utah.Salt Lake City, UtahA Finance and Restructuring Associate for Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jeff Armington previously completed a fellowship through the Public Interest Law Institute at the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago. As a certified mediator, Armington brought his skills to the Daley Center in downtown Chicago. Having graduated with his J.D. from the Duke University School of Law, Armington spent the summer managing cases with the Center before accepting his first position as an associate with the commercial law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP, working out of the Chicago office. He spent nearly two years at the firm before joining Dorsey & Whitney. Currently, Jeff Armington concentrates mainly on bankruptcy litigation, particularly Chapters 7 and 11 proceedings. Throughout his time as an attorney, he has drafted and managed a wide variety of documents, encompassing everything from motions, objections, and procedures to disclosure statements and loan paperwork. Jeff Armington has served numerous notable clients, both debtors and creditors. He assisted in the restructuring for the Fortune 500 company Visteon Corporation, participated in the Chapter 11 liquidation of the Chicago Sun Times Media Group by the Chicago Newspaper Liquidation Corporation, and contributed to the reorganization of Green Valley Ranch Gaming, LLC, and Aliante Gaming, LLC, two branches of Station Casinos, Inc. During his studies at Duke University, Armington maintained a high grade point average and joined the staff of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy, first as a Junior Staff Editor and later as Executive Editor. He also spent a summer as a Judicial Intern for the Utah Supreme Court. Jeff Armington holds membership in the Illinois Bar Association.
