I am a new employee with a private equity real estate firm in Philadelphia, PA. As an accounts payable manager, I am responsible for eight direct reports who are front-end accounts payable processors. I work very closely with customers and other managers to streamline existing AP policies. I maintain a monthly trial balance, complete daily bank reconciliations for several investment accounts and record journal entries for our cash, expense, income and accrual accounts. I like my job.
