Preparing for a Career in Immunology

Jenna Kennedy studies microbiology and natural resources and environmental science at Kansas State University, where she also conducts research in immunology. She hopes to become a physician in tropical medicine, a goal inspired in part by her time in Ghana. In her community, Jenna serves at a local clinic for people without health insurance. Before attending K-State, Jenna grew up on her family’s farm in northwest Kansas. In her spare time, she enjoys ice cream, board games, and traveling.
