Jillian Waid holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University where she double majored in Economics and South Asian Studies. During her senior year she studied abroad in Delhi at St. Stephen’s College and interned at the South Asian Human Rights Documentation Center. Following graduation, she spent a year in D.C. as a Research Assistant in the World Bank’s Research Unit working on numerous studies based in South India and Indonesia. She left D.C. for an American Indian Foundation in Bhuj, Kachchh, Gujarat working with the organization Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan on reproductive health.
