Jim Mahan is a new entrant to the small business lending and banking community in Wilmington, NC. A 2000 graduate of Washington & Lee University, he has worked as an Academic Counselor for the University Kentucky basketball team and later as a teacher and coach in North Carolina. He eventually decided to venture into niche banking in the Wilmington, NC area. He now serves as Vice President and Director of Marketing for Live Oak Lending Company, a proposed bank servicing the Veterinary industry.
