An accomplished sales executive, Mr. Joe Jose leverages over two decades of expertise toward his role as Vice President of Sales at ReputationDefender, a Silicon Valley-based Internet startup specializing in online reputation management. Leading a diverse team of sales professionals, Joe Jose applies his deep knowledge of sales management, consultative selling, and new business development to streamline sales operations and grow company revenue. Since coming to ReputationDefender in February 2010, Joe Jose has made a significant impact on company sales, and he has proven instrumental in strengthening and motivating his team. Prior to joining the team at ReputationDefender, Joe Jose served as the Director of Sales, Customer Service and Retention for Audatex, where he played a key role in quadrupling the company’s additional business revenue, as well as retaining 92 percent of customers despite a sagging economy. Joe Jose’s professional track record also includes high-level positions with companies such as VeriSign, where he was responsible for growing his department from $0 to over $60 million in annual SaaS contract revenue. Joe Jose’s roles with Voltage Security and Netscape Communications similarly demonstrated the common threads of increased company revenues, improved customer retention, and exemplary leadership. At Netscape Communications, Joe Jose and his team established relationships with multiple government organizations that culminated in the closing of Netscape’s largest domestic deal, totaling approximately $30 million. Additionally, Joe Jose is well known for his development of top-performing sales teams, which have led to vast improvements within the core infrastructures of each company with which he has worked. Joe Jose matriculated at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, from which he earned his Master of Business Administration.
