Holding an AB in History as well as a MBA from Harvard University, John Blondel currently serves as a Managing Director in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs, one of the nation?s oldest investment banking firms. He joined the company 28 years ago and has functioned in a number of roles. Outside of his responsibilities with Goldman Sachs, John Blondel remains active with numerous nonprofit organizations. Co-chair of his Harvard Class, Mr. Blondel supports his school’s prestigious academic community through involvement with the Harvard College Fund. John Blondel further proves his commitment to education as a member of the Board with The Jackie Robinson Foundation, a widely respected charity offering minority students college scholarships.

In addition to supporting education in various regards, John Blondel contributes to the beautification of public spaces. He sits on the Board and Executive Committee of the Friends of the High Line, the group that helped transformed a historic New York City railway pass into a park and cultural center. An individual with many passions, Mr. Blondel joined the Board of Directors for The Academy of American Poets, a nonprofit entity raising awareness for poetry. He has also served Harvard as Chairman of the Visiting Committee to the university’s Memorial Church.
