John Dorer is President of AIVK Inc., a New York City-based business and marketing consulting firm that he joined in 2000. Mr. Dorer couples his Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of South Florida with continued research on new media marketing trends, explored in texts like Web Marketing All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies and Constant Contact Guide to Email Marketing. John Dorer also studies technical analysis, which is predicting price points based on market data. Some of John Dorer’s favorite technical analysts are Scott Andrew, Rob Hanna, and Corey Rosenbloom.

Beyond his expertise in marketing, John Dorer has numerous outside passions, particularly tennis. John Dorer is an avid fan of two world greats, Serbian Novak Djokovic and Marcos Baghdatism of Cyprus, and loved the unmatched insight of Andre Agassi’s autobiography, Open. Using his tools of choice, the Microgel Extreme Mid Plus racquet and the Lobster Elite Three Ball Machine, John Dorer cultivates skill that keeps up with the intense aggression of modern tennis. John Dorer practices his sport at Central Park, Riverbank State Park, Binghamton Racquet Club, and Midtown Tennis Club.

Also an avid jazz fan, John Dorer listens to self-taught drummer Dennis Chambers, which has played alongside many big-name acts including Santana, Parliament/Funkadelic, and Steely Dan. John Dorer also follows the innovations of two jazz contemporaries, pianist Jason Moran and drummer/composer Eric Harland, who are paving the way for the future of modern jazz.
