Butcher

John L. Butcher served as an educator, mentor, and army liaison during his tenure with the United States Army and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Riverside, California

Former U.S. Army educator John L. Butcher earned his undergraduate degree while living in two regions of California. During a five-year period beginning in 1963, John L. Butcher attended San Diego State University, where he enjoyed the sun and beautiful beaches of Southern California during his period of focused study, as well as San Francisco State College (now known as San Francisco State University), where he had the opportunity to experience the cultural richness of the city and surrounding area. In 1967, after pursuing rigorous coursework in a broad range of subjects and mastering valuable classroom teaching techniques, John L. Butcher graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

John L. Butcher served his country in US Army NATO, Germany, for two years as liaison, attaining the rank of E-4. After he was released with a honorable discharge, John L. Butcher began teaching in the California school systems, becoming a well respected educator and mentor.

Today, John L. Butcher pursues a diverse array of personal interests, including reading, traveling, and exercising and socializing in luxurious spa facilities. John L. Butcher regularly attends services at his local church, and he supports The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross. John L. Butcher resides in Riverside, California.
