With twelve years of experience executing bottom-up fundamental finacial analysis, Jon Ylvisaker’s contributions to Wolfacre Global Management as a Fund Manager and Managing Member are well founded. Jon’s experience as a Senior Analyst and Partner (2003) at Gruss & Co provided a thorough knowledge of merger arbitrage and special situation investment disciplines that included a broad array of hedging strategies.

Before starting his own fund, Jon Ylvisaker served as a Senior Analyst at Miura Global Management, another member of the Tiger Management family of funds. At Miura, Jon bore responsibility for recommending and structuring long and short investments in the agricultural, industrial, technology, financial, and natural resources sectors.

Jon Ylvisaker received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. Jon Ylvisaker minored in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. During his years at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, Jon Ylvisaker participated in varsity football, lacrosse, and wrestling.
