For more than 25 years, Jonathan Woolery, MD, has volunteered his time and energy in the paramedic community, serving on a number of committees and directing training operations in his specialty. The recipient of the Emergency 24 Foundation Community Service Award in Sint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, Dr. Woolery is a program director and Adult & Critical Care Hospitalist at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee. Additionally, he works locum tenens as an Adult & Critical Care Hospitalist at several underserved rural areas and as an Emergency Room Physician at Russellville Hospital in Russellville, Alabama; Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri; and at several facilities in the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System. The owner and President of Medic One Medical Services, LLC, which offers global public health and life support education to underserved individuals, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery also directs operations at Vaccin8, LLC, which offers affordable influenza vaccines on-site to businesses across the United States. A board-certified physician and member of American Medical Association, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Physicians, and the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery has served a number of organizations over the years. He acted as Director of the Bomberos de Tijuana Emergency Medical Services in Mexico and EMS Program Director of Emergency 24 Foundation. He also assisted AHA California Central Valley Task Force and directed the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) School of Medicine’s Life Support Training Center. Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery holds membership in Alpha Omega Phi and Phi Chi, and he has participated in numerous community service roles over the past two decades. He served as a volunteer rescue paramedic from 1994 to 2000 at Cruz Roja Mexicana, a division of the Red Cross in Mexico. A disaster drill evaluator at Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten in the Caribbean, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery has worked as a volunteer paramedic and firefighter throughout North and Central America.
