He later followed up this success with the implementation of buy/sell communities for a Dallas, Texas-based trade mart and in Shanghai, China, on behalf of Crow Holdings International. Joseph Bowers’ work at Crow Holdings involved providing the leadership necessary to return a $500 million joint venture to profitability within three years. For a publicly-traded retail brand, Joseph Bowers launched direct-to-consumer channels, including a national catalog, an online storefront, and a new call center, which helped the company earn over $20 million in new revenue for the brand within two years. In addition to these accomplishments, Joseph Bowers has developed and sold two companies, spoke as a guest of professional conferences around the globe, and helped create interactive platform strategies for such brands as HP, Qwest, Storehouse, The Associates, Checkfree, American Express, IBM, and the Young Presidents’ Organization, among others.
