Fitness expert Joseph Burchell leverages more than 20 years of experience as a personal trainer. Now employed by 24 Hour Fitness in Dallas, Texas, Joseph Burchell also works as a Freelance Personal Trainer and Fitness Consultant in the United Kingdom. In both roles, Joseph Burchell collaborates with individuals to determine the most beneficial program of diet and exercise to meet their health modification goals. In 1998, Joseph Burchell was recruited by Clark Hatch Management in the Philippines to serve as the Senior Fitness Instructor and Staff Development Officer for the Dusit Hotel. Remaining at the Dusit Hotel until 2002, Joseph Burchell then relocated to the United Kingdom. Joseph Burchell began his career in Hawaii as an Assistant Strength Endurance Coach at AIEA High School and also worked at Hawaiian fitness clubs and as a Nurse’s Aide at Straub Hospital in Honolulu. Joseph Burchell then spent eight years as an independent Certified Personal Fitness Trainer in both the United States and in the Philippines. A graduate of Kapi’olani Community College in Honolulu, Joseph Burchell received his training to become a Hawaiian Red Cross Certified Nurse’s Aide. Joseph Burchell also completed extensive studies at the renowned Cooper Institute in Texas in topics like the biomechanics of resistance training, prenatal and postnatal fitness, wellness and healthy behavior coaching, and pathophysiology. Joseph Burchell belongs to the Cooper Institute Elite, the American College of Sports Medicine, American Heart Association, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In his spare time, Joseph Burchell enjoys studying martial arts and reading.
