Joy Mondal is the founder and co-owner, along with Prateek Banerjee, of Spatial Tension, a new and upcoming architectural firm that promises to take the contemporary architecture by storm. Having finished his +2 from Kendriya Vidyalaya, India’s leading national-level school, he bagged an oppurtunity in Jadavpur University where he is pursuing Bachelor of Architecture. As a kid Joy was always fascinated by architecture, standing and admiring the aesthetics of buildings in gaze. This passion backed by a supernomous dextery at academics and humogous ambition inspired this 17-year old to co-found Spatial Tension. In his own words, “I was always hooked to architecture and space management, reading journals and checking websites of the pioneer construction companies. With a chance to study at Jadavpur University where they provide a possible internship at Madrid this is the perfect platform for me to go chase my dreams. With a skilled and hard-working partner things could not have gone better!”

With Spatial Tension, Joy hopes to learn the tricks and trade of the ruthless world of architects. With his perfection-philic attitude and established background he indeed is tipped to reach new heights!
