Kaitlin Abplanalp graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Studio Art from Washington & Lee University in 2005 and will begin law school at University of San Francisco in the fall of 2008.
In between her studies, Kaitlin worked with Engel Entertainment in NYC for two years. As a Production Assistant, she was part of a small team producing “Runway Moms” for The Discovery Health Channel and “Cannibalism: Extreme Survival” for The History Channel. She did occasional camera work for additional shows such as “The Dan Ho Show,” “Sara Snow,” and “Runway Moms,” all for Discovery Health. Her last project as Researcher/Associate Producer for “Dead Art” aired on VOOM, an HD dish satellite network, and explored the history of art in cemeteries.
After working in production, Kaitlin began to pursue her legal interests by working as a patent paralegal with Ropes & Gray in NYC. She also continues to work on her art, paint commissions, and has published a website to display her art: http://web.mac.com/kaitabplanalp.
