Presidential assistant Karyn Malm is currently employed by Robert Morris College. Now in her fifteenth year of service to the institution, Karyn Malm maintains the high standard for diligence and professionalism she has exhibited throughout her career. Karyn Malm represents the objectives of the President to the Board of Trustees, stakeholders both internal and external, and the general public with fidelity and foresight. At Robert Morris College, Karyn Malm also spent five years as the Director of Development. Karyn Malm bore comprehensive responsibility for duties including the management of the annual fund and the annual report, and she was also a media contact and representative to the public. Prior to joining Robert Morris College, Karyn Malm held the position of Director of Admissions, Development, and Public Relations at the Avery Coonley School; in addition, she spent two years as a Development Assistant at Little Friends, Inc. Outside of her work at Robert Morris College, Karyn Malm is dedicated to serving others and holds several advisory and leadership positions with nonprofit organizations. Karyn Malm is the First Vice President of the Naperville United Way and a board member of Naperville Cable TV, Rotary Club of Chicago, and the Black Star Project. Moreover, Karyn Malm is a Red Cross-trained Disaster Services Volunteer and a Precinct Committeeman in Naperville Township. Karyn Malm received her education from North Central College and Northern Illinois University and is certified in technology integration and business management. An active member of several professional organizations, Karyn Malm participates in the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
