Health care provider, enthusiast, and promoter Kathy Hajinlian possesses extensive experience and education in the areas of nursing, fitness, and nutrition. For the past two decades, Kathy Hajinlian cared for the elderly and veterans in several Massachusetts hospitals, while continuing to advance her career through certification training and college courses. Healthy living and caring for the elderly continue to be Kathy Hajinlian’s life goals and career objectives. Kathy Hajinlian attended Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts, where she focused her studies on health care and computer science courses. While attending school, she worked in a Massachusetts Veterans Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her duties were varied but included administering health treatments and medicine; bathing, grooming, shaving, and dressing patients with limited mobility; preparing patients for surgery, treatment, or examination; collecting specimens; explaining medical instructions to patients and family members; and taking vital signs of a patient, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and input and output respiration rate. A professional dedication and diligence earned Kathy Hajinlian a Leadership Award while working as a CNA for the Veterans Hospital. Aside from her nursing background, Kathy Hajinlian also attended cosmetology school at Beauty Creators Academy, in Everett, Massachusetts, where she completed 1,000 hours of course studies and hands-on practice. Following her studies, she spent nearly two years working in a salon environment at New Image Hair Salon in Burlington, Massachusetts. A community advocate, Kathy Hajinlian has worked with veterans in both a professional and voluntary basis, supported American Cancer Society through local efforts, and volunteered her time for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Today, she continues to live in Massachusetts, where she enjoys keeping fit and continuously challenging herself to reach new physical and professional goals.
