Since May of 2001, Dr. Keith Lamy has served as the Medical Director of Family Medicine Practice, located in Austin, Texas. In this role, Dr. Lamy fulfills numerous duties, including patient care and the management of all company employees. Striving for increased innovation and excellence at Family Medicine Practice, Dr. Keith Lamy has extensive experience treating patients of all ages with a variety of ailments, prescribing medications, and performing accurate diagnoses of medical conditions. A proponent of holistic and preventative medicine, Dr. Lamy advocates for a number of safe alternative approaches and therapies to his clients. Dr. Keith Lamy’s formal education includes an internship and a residency in medicine at the University of California, San Diego, in the late 1980s and the completion of his Doctor of Medicine from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York in 1985. In addition to being awarded a scholarship grant, Dr. Lamy has also maintained an uninterrupted period of certification with The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc., since he completed the requisite training in 1988. In the past, Dr. Keith Lamy has also worked as a preceptor for The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Keith Lamy maintains active membership in a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, The Phi Beta Kappa Society, and Physicians for Social Responsibility. In addition to maintaining membership in these organizations, Dr. Lamy also supports the philanthropic and charitable efforts of the American Cancer Society, Inc., a medical research fundraising walk, a bike ride that supports research into AIDS, and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
