I’ve spent the last 13 years working in the insurance industry. I specialize in employer benefits, health insurance, life insurance, short-term or long-term disability, etc. I started my career at MAMSI in 1995 as an account exexcutive within a year I was a supervisor. Then I was named sales person of the year 3 years in a row..eventually ending my career as a sales mananger for the #1 district I helped create. In 2004 I went on to startup a small brokerage firm, Group Insurance Solutions Inc. that has done extremely well. We started with 5 people and now there are 48 employees 3 1/2 years later. Last year I decided to move away from GISI which has a stronger presence in the Baltimore area and start focusing my attention on the Maryland/DC/Virginia area and start my own company, Melby Group Benefits which already is bringing in over $4,000,000 in revenue in the first 12 months. Melby Group Benefits is located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
