Dr. Kevin Niksarli, one of the world’s leading authorities on LASIK and laser eye surgery, serves as the Medical Director of New York City’s Manhattan LASIK Center. Since 1995, when the excimer laser was approved, Dr. Kevin Niksarli has performed in excess of 40,000 successful LASIK procedures. Trained as an engineer and computer scientist before enrolling in medical school, Dr. Kevin Niksarli possesses a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved with laser eye surgery and uses this expertise to deliver exceptional surgical services. With an impeccable reputation, Dr. Kevin Niksarli has secured an international client base and is frequently approached by other doctors and surgeons seeking laser eye surgery. A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Kevin Niksarli studied for his Doctor of Medicine at Cornell University’s Medical College. After graduation, Dr. Kevin Niksarli completed an internship in Internal Medicine and then secured a residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was trained in eye surgery. During his final year at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. Kevin Niksarli was named the Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. As a Fellow at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, Dr. Kevin Niksarli pursued additional training at Harvard University, during which time he became certified in LASIK, PRK, Laser Vision Correction, Cataract Surgery, and Corneal Transplants. Dr. Kevin Niksarli also pursued a Fellowship at Cornell University’s New York Hospital Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Kevin Niksarli serves patients at a number of the top hospitals in Manhattan in addition to his private practice services. Board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Kevin Niksarli maintains an active role in his professional community through his continued participation with the organization. Dr. Kevin Niksarli is also involved with the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the European Society of Refractive Surgery, and the New York State Ophthalmological Society.
