A Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as the American Board of Ophthalmology, Kevin Niksarli serves as the Medical Director of Manhattan Lasik Center, and holds membership with numerous medical groups, including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the New York State Ophthalmological Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. A physician with additional experience as a computer scientist and engineer, Kevin Niksarli acquired a prestigious education prior to embarking on his career as an eye surgeon. He obtained an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, and then attended Weill Cornell Medical College. After graduating with his Doctor of Medicine, Kevin Niksarli pursued a string of post-graduate appointments that would further prepare him for his career. Following an internal medicine internship, Kevin Niksarli received an eye surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, a Manhattan entity recognized for innovation in the medical field since 1857. His success in this regard propelled him towards another opportunity, and he completed a fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Institute. In addition to remaining on the staff of these facilities, Kevin Niksarli serves as the head of Manhattan Lasik Center. Since assuming the position in 1998, Kevin Niksarli has improved the vision of upwards of 50,000 patients.
