As President of Lockwood Financial Ltd., the Montreal-based advisory firm he founded in 1997, Kevin Torudag advises companies in the energy industry on financial strategies. Specializing in the mining and oil/gas sectors, under Kevin Torudag’s leadership, Lockwood Financial also offers private placement advisory services as well as assistance in market research, and risk mitigation, mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiations and global business practices.

Lockwood Financial is headquartered in the Westmount enclave of Montreal, however, Mr. Torudag serves clients across the globe, from North America and South America to Europe, Africa, and Asia. Over the years, Mr. Torudag has demonstrated his adeptness at identifying the concessions necessary to close negotiations on a deal, as well as collaborating with foreign governments in emerging markets.

Before delving into the world of finance, Kevin Torudag studied at Butler University in Indiana, USA. Mr. Torudag subsequently spent eight years honing his skills in consulting with resource firms on capital advisory issues at AMF Capital, Inc. In 1997, he leveraged the knowledge and skills he gained to establish Lockwood Financial.

Kevin Torudag speaks four different languages and stays abreast of world developments as a member of the International Advisory Council for the International Crisis Group (ICG). The ICG, a 16-year-old nonprofit and nongovernmental organization, seeks methods of preventing and halting violent global conflicts. In addition, Kevin Torudag also supports the JGH Fund, which supports Montreal’s Sir Mortimer B. Davis – JG Hospital and its Child Psychology department, as well as Family Support Services Hay Doun, which provides social and educational assistance to residents of Quebec who hail from an Armenian ethnic background.
