After a period spent studying applied economics and business administration at the University of San Francisco, Kim Nazarek launched his career at Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., in Sacramento California. Over the course of more than two years, he focused his attention on financial planning and asset allocation modeling. During this period, Mr. Nazarek gained certification and accreditation as a financial planner, as well as membership in the International Association for Financial Planning (now the Financial Planning Association), where he continues to follow industry best practices and ethical standards.

In 1985, Kim Nazarek left Waddell & Reed to accept an opportunity with Cigna Financial Services. Thereafter, he cultivated his expertise in financial planning for small business owners with a focus on areas such as business continuity, taxes, estate planning, and risk management. As a result of his performance at Cigna, Kim Nazarek earned multiple distinctions, including the designation of Investment Leader, membership in the Vice President Seminar, and an Award of Merit.

At the end of his tenure with Cigna, Kim Nazarek became a Senior Financial Consultant at Financial Advisers Network, Tri Telic Inc. He has helped the organization to become a highly diversified technical financial consultancy and asset management firm. Specializing in financial planning for individuals, couples, and families of all ages and economic backgrounds, Mr. Nazarek helps clients to protect and grow their investments through a wide range of products and services. To this end, Kim Nazarek works one-on-one with each client to develop a realistic set of financial goals and map out a comprehensive investment strategy according to specific needs, including college, retirement, estate, tax, and business continuity planning.
