A resident of Colorado since 1962, Dr. Kristine Hembre has been practicing medicine in the state for more than 15 years. For the last decade, Dr. Hembre has treated patients at the West Location of Pikes Peak Allergy & Asthma, LLC, in Colorado Springs. She addresses a broad range of conditions, including food, seasonal, and pet allergies, and provides comprehensive care for sinus infections, chronic cough, and asthma. Dr. Kristine Hembre holds certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. As a respected member of the medical community, she serves on the board of the American Lung Association and belongs to several national medical organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology and the Clinical Immunology Society.

Prior to joining Pikes Peak, Dr. Kristine Hembre worked with several other clinics in Colorado Springs, including Colorado Immunology Consultants and Colorado Allergy and Asthma Center, P.C.. The Allergy Asthma Network/Mothers of Asthmatics, Inc., named Colorado Allergy and Asthma Center the Most Innovative in Asthma Patient Care in the United States. Dr. Hembre also served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, where she completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology. As part of her postdoctoral training, Dr. Kristine Hembre also underwent internship and residency training at the Presbyterian/St. Luke Medical Center in Denver and an osteopathic internship at Doctors’ Hospital of Colorado Springs. She garnered several accolades through the course of her training, including the Nelson Family Fellowship and the American College of Physicians Associates Award for Clinical Research.

Dr. Kristine Hembre earned her Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Health Sciences–College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri.
