Kristopher's Status UpdatesOperating one of the largest interior automotive product design and production companies in the world, Kristopher Dreyer has built a management philosophy around organizational success. Dreyer actively seeks advancement in his business practices and believes in a company culture that encourages accomplishment. In his current post with Magna International, Dreyer is able to use his responsibilities to benefit both consumers and his workforce. Kristopher Dreyer is the Owner and Operator of Decoma Interiors, a division of Magna International. As Director of Operations for the automotive product company, Dreyer manages three divisions, totaling over $300 million in sales. Dreyer’s responsibility is to work with the engineering, finance, production control, and purchasing departments, and conduct business in an efficient and timely manner. When Magna International acquired Decoma, Kristopher Dreyer hired and trained the nearly 1,000-employee workforce. Kristopher Dreyer continually seeks the latest technologies in the industry. In his history with the company, Kristopher Dreyer has earned numerous awards for his interior work. Dreyer won the Interior of the Year award for the Dodge Journey, a mid-size crossover wagon. Dreyer has also designed and manufactured award-winning interiors for Acadia, GM, Enclave, and CTS. For the company, Dreyer created and constructed a Division of work in Mexico, four buildings totaling nearly 800,000 square feet. Since his start in 2003, Kristopher Dreyer has brought a $200 million dollar turn-around to profit. Kristopher Dreyer studied Mechanical Engineering, earning his Bachelor of Science from Belford University. After taking Harvard School of Management courses, Dreyer started his career in the automotive industry as a Business Manager for Textron. Then, Dreyer moved to Tecumseh Automotive Products, where he served for a decade as CEO and President. At Tecumseh, Kristopher Dreyer negotiated contracts with the biggest brands in the automotive industry (including Ford, Honda, Kia, and Chrysler), integrated company technologies into a corporate product line, and purchased 11 companies to create a single corporation. Kristopher Dreyer’s prior work and executive experience prepared him for his responsibilities with Decoma Interiors and Magna International. |
