With Layout in Mystique Magazine Siren and in Maxim
The opportunity to participate in the Honorable Presidential Classroom Scholars Program during her high school years prompted Kristy Dwyer’s continuing concern for community and country. The Presidential Scholars Classroom Program, sponsored by the National Society for High School Scholars, is a national program that recognizes leadership and academic excellence. Kristy Dwyer explains that the 2002 award and subsequent trip to Washington, D.C., while the country still reeled from the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center, was an unforgettable, life-changing event for her. During the trip, Ms. Dwyer joined with scholars from around the world to visit the Pentagon, the White House, and the U.S. Capitol.
Since this impactful experience, Ms. Dwyer has contributed on both local and national levels, using her talent to help others. She is proud to have been a part of a Peer Assistance Leadership program, a volunteer for SafePlace, and to have appeared in a series of commercials intended to prevent drug abuse.
First discovered during her senior year of high school, Kristy Dwyer has been a successful, professional model with an impressive portfolio that includes features and layouts in magazines such as Playboy, Fitness, Maxim, Mystique Magazine, and Extreme Boats Magazine. She also holds the distinction of being the only model to be featured in three layouts in a single year for American Curves Magazine.
As first place winner of Miss Caribbean Tan International, in Cancun, Mexico, Ms. Dwyer appeared in a series of Caribbean Tan calendars, and she is a member of the USA National Bikini Team. The Texas native is most proud of her Playboy layouts, which appeared in 2006 and 2007. She was featured in two full layouts of Playboy Lingerie Special Editions and was invited to be a Playboy Cybergirl. She was also named to the “Playboy Sexy Top 100.” Throughout her long and successful career, Ms. Dwyer has worked with such premier photographers as Bruce Talbot of Arizona, Michael Rosen of Chicago, Mary Duprie of Detroit, John Neyrot of Ft. Lauderdale, Andy MacFarland of Daytona Beach, Max V. of Las Vegas, and Mark Mozzier of Las Vegas. She feels honored to have worked extensively with renowned photographer and dear friend Greg Daniels of Dallas, Texas.
Always grateful for her career in modeling, Kristy Dwyer now seeks to move away from that industry by reserving her modeling engagements for commercials, advertisements, and charity runway shows only. She is currently pursuing certification as a realtor and plans to focus her career on real estate in future. A graduate of Austin Community College, Ms. Dwyer holds a degree in Spanish.
