Larson Douglas Hudson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Simplex Healthcare, Inc

A graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, Larson Douglas Hudson earned his undergraduate degree in Organizational Behavior in 1991. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialty in finance and accounting from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, Tennessee. After completing his education, Larson Douglas Hudson began his career as a business executive as Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income at J.C. Bradford & Co., an investment-banking and brokerage firm in Nashville, Tennessee.

Following more than five years at J.C. Bradford & Co., Larson Hudson founded HearingPlanet. After launching the company, Mr. Hudson led HearingPlanet to become the largest direct-to-consumer hearing aid distributor in the United States. In 2007, he left his executive position with HearingPlanet to become the Chairman and CEO of Simplex Healthcare, Inc., the third largest diabetes supplies provider in the United States. Simplex soon acquired Diabetes Care Club (DCC), which now operates under the Simplex brand.

In addition to his role with Simplex Healthcare, Mr. Hudson is active with the Young Presidents’ Organization and the American Diabetes Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association and is on the Health Care Advisory Board of Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Additionally, Larson Douglas Hudson works with a number of charitable organizations, including Healing Hands, Cries of Love, American Diabetes Association, Soles4Souls, and Compassion International. Mr. Hudson spends his free time with his two daughters, family, and friends, and is currently training for his private pilot’s license.
