Lauren Hopkins (nee Weedon) is currently serving as the Director of Research and Outreach for a nonprofit organization called Dreams Come True, based in Jacksonville. The organization seeks to support children with life-threatening illnesses in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Lauren is a 1999 graduate of Washington and Lee University, where she studied English and Journalism.
