Andrew “Pike” Piekalkiewicz has
been a lawyer in private practice specializing in trial work since graduating
from law school at the University of Texas School of Law in 1993.Throughout his years of practicing law, he
has successfully represented injured people and those accused of serious
crimes.He has tried numerous car wreck cases,
personal injury, general civil and serious criminal cases as sole counsel to
juries in state and federal court.He

Andrew Piekalkiewicz is a proven fighter both on the actual infantry combat battlefield and in
the courtroom.In 2009, Mr.
Piekalkiewicz volunteered for a combat deployment to Afghanistan.In a command position with a National Guard
unit mentoring Afghan National Police, he fought alongside Afghan and French forces
to defeat and bar anti-government Taliban forces operating in the TagabValley,
KapisaProvince.After combat operations were suspended in
that province, he was transferred to NangaharProvince.Mr. Piekalkiewicz received several
decorations for his service while deployed and continues to remain active in
the National Guard.He is a certified
“Green Beret” having earned the coveted Special Forces qualification badge. He
is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lone Star Veterans Association,
and Iraq
and Afghanistan Veterans Association.
Prior
to deploying to Afghanistan, Attorney Piekalkiewicz practiced law in Lawrence and Kansas City, Kansas
representing clients in serious felony cases and injured people involved in
serious car wrecks.While practicing in Kansas, he also represented the medium size city of El Dorado as the
municipal civil city attorney.In that
role he provided legal advice and consultation to the city manager, finance
director and city commission members as well as representing the city in
contract negotiations with various government and private entities and was
litigation counsel for the city in state court.Mr. Piekalkiewicz also represented Missouri clients.
After
returning from deployment, Mr. Piekalkiewicz re-opened his law practice in Houston, Texas.He has returned to representing seriously
injured people, business owners involved in various disputes, and select
clients accused of serious crimes.He is
licensed by the Texas Supreme Court to practice in all state courts.His commitment to fighting for the rights of
