Since 1998, Lawrence Pross has served as Vice President of Utica Taxi Center, Inc., one of New York City’s major taxi fleets and transportation service providers. Dedicated to increasing the performance and efficiency of functions provided by those affiliated with the Utica Taxi Center, he has initiated a variety of measures to meet these goals. Along with handling day-to-day decisions, Pross participates in company-wide operations. As Vice President, Lawrence Pross has successfully made major and direct contributions to the company that have increased profitability by as much as 300%.

As a leader of Utica Taxi Center, Lawrence Pross plays a vital role in representing the interests of 30 of the company’s staff members and over 600 self-employed taxi cab drivers currently employed there. Besides his work in the transportation business, however, Pross also functions as President of Universal Payment Systems, LLCcultivated the firm, which provides credit card processing services to businesses, from its initial establishment into a flourishing corporation.

Today, Lawrence Pross balances his time between his two posts and continues to look for new ways to invest in the futures of both of the companies under his care and direction. In addition to his extensive corporate work, Pross is an avid supporter of a wide variety of charitable organizations. Among these are The American National Red Cross, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the March of Dimes Foundation.
