Layton Tamberlin is the Chairman of Samedaydoctor and a Partner at Sullivan Street Partners. Samedaydoctor is a privately owned UK company that manages private clinics across the country, serving walk-in clients with general and sexual healthcare treatment. Layton Tamberlin has been with the company since 2009, providing the benefit of his experience in the world of business to help the company grow and succeed. Sullivan Street Partners is a private capital investment firm which invests in the UK across a broad range of sectors.

Previous Professional Work

Layton Tamberlin entered the professional world after receiving his master’s degree from Oxford University. He worked for several years at Merrill Lynch, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. After Merrill Lynch he began working at TDR Capital, the private equity firm founded by Manjit Dale and Stephen Robertson. With its base in Western Europe and significant capital at its disposal, the company achieved a substantial success in it’s acquisitions. Layton Tamberlin flourished at TDR Capital for some seven years and was an integral part of the firm. He participated in acquisitions of companies such as Algeco, Resolution, Williams Scotsman, ASK, Pearl and PizzaExpress and was a highly lauded member of the company.

Personal Details
Born in Shrewsbury and today a resident of London, Layton Tamberlin is a happily married father of two. As a young man, he attended Keble College, a constituent college of Oxford University, where he obtained his degree in mathematics and philosophy.

When not immersing himself in work or taking time off to be with his family, Layton Tamberlin is avidly interested in raising awareness of his fellow countrymen to the spectrum of disorders labelled ‘autism’.
