Deeply experienced in various areas of government work, Mr. Leonard “Len” Luterbach currently serves as a Program and Policy Analyst for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

An alumnus of Georgetown University, Mr. Leonard (Len) Luterbach has come a long way since he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy. Possessing a decade of professional experience in the information technology (IT) sector, Len Luterbach commenced his career in the military as a Communications Officer for Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Four, where he managed numerous aspects of IT and communication. Len Luterbach continued on this career path as an Information Systems Manager for the Chief of Naval Operations, a Global Command and Control System Administrator for the United States Central Command, and as a Program Manager for the BSC/CIAN. Over the course of his professional career, Len Luterbach has developed a reputation among colleagues and clients for his talent in leadership, problem solving, and knowledge of the many complex issues and policies surrounding IT in a government setting. Today, Leonard Luterbach leverages his experience toward his current role as a Program and Policy Analyst for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). As a Program and Policy Analyst, Len Luterbach plays a key role in advising senior staff members on the effectiveness of the OCC’s Information Risk Management Program. Additionally, Len Luterbach discovers and implements methods designed to improve the efficiency of the OCC. Lauded among his peers for his significant efforts, Len Luterbach has received a number of awards, including the 10-Year Government Service Citation and an award from the Comptroller for developing a complex communications framework for the purposes of institutional capacity building. Len Luterbach is a member in good standing of the Government Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (GFIRST). Outside of work, Len Luterbach stays active in the community. Len Luterbach is a member of the Smithsonian Young Benefactors and is registered with the C.W. Bill Young Marrow Donor Center. Len Luterbach also supports organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project, American Red Magen David for Israel, and the Women’s Law and Policy Fellowship Program. A resident of Arlington, Virginia, Len Luterbach enjoys traveling, reading, and playing sports in his leisure time.
