Sarkisyan earned his Bachelor of Science in Management, emphasizing in International Business, from the University of Connecticut. Focused particularly on Armenian and Russian economies, Levon Sarkisyan traveled through these countries as part of his business research. Sarkisyan detected Armenian and Russian business opportunities, trends, and risks, which he later used to build his company, Sark Global. During his education at the University of Connecticut, Sarkisyan honed technology and finance skills. Levon Sarkisyan earned Series 66 and 7 licenses from NASD.

Seeing market potential with Eastern Europe, Levon Sarkisyan created Sark Global to assist domestic businesses in global expansion. Creating clear business plans that benefited investors abroad, as well as the growing company, Sarkisyan acted as a communications liaison. Commonly partnered with wine, medical, automotive, and IT sectors, Levon Sarkisyan facilitated distribution and promotion, market entry, and import and export service.

Concurrent with Sark Global’s development, Levon Sarkisyan took on an additional position as outsourcing consultant with Aetna Inc. Sarkisyan created quarterly SWOT reports on the company’s sourcing environments for the Sourcing Governance Board. Trending the market, Levon Sarkisyan responded to ad-hoc management requests with insightful analysis. Sarkisyan also designed the company’s knowledge library. While in college, Levon Sarkisyan earned an internship post with Waddell & Reed, Inc., a financial advising firm.
