Welcome to Explorations Family Childcare

The purpose of our program is to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children with a focus on nature. Children will be provided many opportunities to freely explore their environment through a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate for each child. Structured activities include but are not limited to: blocks, manipulatives, puzzles, art, crafts, cooking, music, games, stories and outside play. My husband and I own a pet store in Canton MA and small animals and fish will be part of our program

My Qualifications:
I am licensed in Massachusetts to run a family childcare home and Director certified by the Department of Education. I have been working with children for over 20 years, as Program Coordinator, Lead Preschool teacher, nanny and parent.
I volunteer in the Needham Public schools with the Child Assault Prevention Program.

B.A. in Human Services
Graduate student of education, Wheelock College

I believe my job as a childcare provider is to support each child, to enhance the emotional, cognitive, and physical growth and to inspire creativity, a love of nature & life-long learning .
