A licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Los Angeles, Linda Shing studied political science and psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Linda Shing received her Master’s degrees in Organizational Behavior and Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California.

Linda Shing now practices as a mental health therapist at a nonprofit organization, the Exceptional Children’s Foundation, where she assesses, diagnoses, and treats children and young adults with emotional, mental, and relational problems. To prepare for her work with a diverse community, Linda Shing studied Spanish intensively in Guatemala, Peru, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. In her work with her clients, Linda Shing frequently utilizes her Spanish skills, often conducting sessions in both English and Spanish to accommodate the different preferences of family members and to encourage communication within the system.
