Lindsay GuionNew York, New YorkLindsay Guion is currently a student at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At Harvard, Lindsay is studying business and law and hoping to obtain his post-graduate degree. Having started his studies there in September of 2005, he has had the chance to be a part of many clubs and associations at the school, including Harvard Law Society, Law and Philosophy Society, Beckman Center at Harvard Law School, and the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. While at Harvard he also published the essay “Work Environment,” which highlights some of his favorite quotes and business philosophies. One of his main motivations for going back to school was to be able to keep up with ever-advancing technology. Mr. Guion is someone who believes that in order to be a successful human in this world, one must always be open to re-training himself in the relevant philosophies and subjects of his or her field. Lindsay is excited to polish up on his leadership, entrepreneurial, and negotiating skills. As well as attending Harvard, Guion is also divisional chief executive at Sony Music Entertainment, Inc affiliate Black Pepper Music, LLC in New York City—a position he took on in January of 2008. As divisional chief executive, Lindsay provides representation to professionals from all over the world. He is heavily involved in the music entertainment side of the business, having supplied counsel and advising to some of today’s top musical icons, including multi-platinum and Grammy award winning artists, music producers, and songwriters. He is currently overseeing the new D’Angelo project via RCA, Music Group and J Records. In addition to his role as divisional chief executive, Lindsay Guion is also involved in several other entertainment projects including, Guion Partners, Inc., et al., a global management consultancy. Lindsay Guion is also an active member of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association. His interest in law and its place in the entertainment industry not only propelled him to go to Harvard, but also landed him a position as special consultant and music liaison at the Entertainment and Media Law Firm of Blanc, Williams, Johnston, and Kronstadt, LLP.
