The Senior Director for Global Trade at Microsoft Corporation, Mr. Lucas (Lou) Ventino is instrumental in ensuring success within the company’s global markets.

An expert in global customs and trade matters, Mr. Lucas (Lou) Ventino is recognized as an innovative leader. He has deep expertise in policies and procedures related to E-trade and E-government related initiatives that help create efficiencies in trade and commerce. Over the course of his professional career, Lou Ventino has contributed significantly to the industry through a number of programs and initiatives designed to assist countries and ministries in understanding the benefits and challenges of E-government. He conceived and directed the APEC Forum on E-Government and was a contributor to the “Roadmap for E-Government in the Developing World” published by the Pacific Council on International Policy. Lou Ventino’s efforts on in this space led to his being named a “Top E-business and E-supply Chain Executive” in 2001.

Lou Ventino gained considerable knowledge and experience in his role as the Vice President of Global Trade Development for Oracle. Lou Continues to be an industry thought leader in this space in his role as Senior Director for Global Trade at Microsoft Corporation, where he oversees the management of Microsoft’s international trade value chain.

When he is not working, Lou Ventino spends much of his time helping others. Particularly passionate about education, Lou Ventino serves on the Board of Directors of Ready by Five. In this capacity, Lou Ventino takes a leading role in an organization that works to strengthen the programs to prepare pre-school children through a variety of programs.
