Katz Kindness Animal Hospital

Silver Spring, Maryland

Let us introduce you to Dr. Marc Katz, an outstanding veterinarian whose practice at Kindness Animal Hospital in Wheaton, Maryland, spans three decades. Dr. Marc Katz’s animal patients and their grateful owners return time and again to benefit from his healing touch. Many pet owners have been coming to Dr. Marc Katz and Kindness Animal Hospital for decades, receiving services ranging from their pets’ first immunizations to life saving treatments. Dr. Marc Katz takes a personal interest in “special” dogs. Dr. Marc Katz has been recognized for his exceptional commitment to maintaining the health of service dogs by the National Education for Assistance Dog Services (NEADS), an organization that trains dogs to serve deaf and disabled Americans. In addition, The Seeing Eye, an organization that provides service dogs for people who are blind, has shown appreciation to Dr. Marc Katz for “his interest and dedication to the health and well-being of these special animals.” Because Dr. Marc Katz has a strong desire to help pets without access to veterinary care, he organized a program that provided voluntary veterinary services by Montgomery County (Maryland) veterinarians to the Montgomery County Humane Society year round. That program has performed continuous service for over 20 years and has saved the Montgomery County Humane Society many thousands of dollars in veterinary care. Kindness Animal Hospital, one of Montgomery County’s oldest veterinary facilities, was recognized as one of the top animal hospitals in Montgomery County, Maryland, by Washingtonian Magazine in 2005. Dr. Marc Katz has been proud to serve there since 1978. Visit Dr. Marc Katz and Kindness Animal Hospital on the web at www.kindnesshospital.com.
