Marc Peters is a senior at Syracuse University majoring in newspaper journalism and public policy studies. He currently serves as national student blog director for the Obama for America Campaign. Mr. Peters has served the Syracuse community extensively, most recently as a mentorship program coordinator for the Jenna Foundation for Nonviolence. He has interned on the Hill and for a leadership PAC, in addition to USA Today and the Baltimore Sun. He is on the Maryland Youth Advisory Council for the US Public Service Academy and in 2007 was recognized for his commitment to service when he was named a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
