Marcia Hatch is a corporate and securities law partner in the Silicon Valley office of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. She specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies and venture capital firms. Ms. Hatch represents clean technology companies, life science companies, information technology companies and semi-conductor companies. She also represents many prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms in their investments in emerging growth companies. Ms. Hatch specializes in all areas of corporate, securities and partnership laws, and focuses primarily on the formation and financing of emerging growth companies, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, debt transactions and corporate governance and venture capital funds. Ms. Hatch’s work with companies spans the entire corporate life-cycle, including strategic decisions and coaching prior to incorporation, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Marcia Hatch received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. in History from University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Ms. Hatch was a shareholder at Heller Erhman and a part of the Venture Law Group. Early in her career Ms. Hatch practiced in New York with Sullivan & Cromwell.
