Maria Canfora is the Director of Finance (CFO/Controller) for the Healthcare Analytics Group of United Biosource Corporation in Bethesda, MD. Prior to working with UBC, she was the VP of Budgeting at InPhonic, Inc. She worked at InPhonic for 6 years and at the time the company went public in November 2004, she was the VP, Corporate Controller. She also has done work for The Marketing Store, based in Chicago, as an Accounting Manager, a position she held for one year. Prior to this position, she worked for Jones Lang LaSalle, an international commercial real estate company, also based in Chicago, where she was the International Controller of the Americas Region for over one year. Maria started her accounting and finance career at Arthur Andersen LLP (Chicago headquarters) as an auditor in the Services audit practice. She remained at Arthur Andersen for 3 1/2 years. She graduated in 1995 from the Indiana University in Bloomington with a BA in Italian and French and a BS in Accounting & International Business.
