Mariela is a journalist that 18 years ago left her hometown in search of new experiences and went to Los Angeles to study photography in UCLA and worked as a correspondent for an argentinean magazine. Once she learned about the amazing world of the images she discovered her true passion. She lived in LA for 10 years and worked as a free-lance photographer in advertising, architecture, headshots. But what she really got into was fine art photography. She started to exhibit with an argentinean group of artists and after she out standed for her work, she was comissioned as an artist for companies that wanted creative and original images for decorating their offices. That’s where it started her work as a fine art photographer for interior design.
On 2003 she went back to South America, and after settled down in Punta del Este, Uruguay; she created a tv show about art viewed from the artist lifestyle, with still images and interviews.
Now she lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, since 2006. Taking it easy… redescovering her artistic view. Working as a commercial photographer and in construction of an image bank of all her work on the net.
