An accomplished optometrist, Dr. Mark Meadows, OD serves as the President and CEO of Eastern Eye Associates Optometrists. Dr. Mark Meadows, OD is committed to providing the most comprehensive eye care in Gloucester County, the Middle Peninsula, and Northern Neck areas. Dr. Mark Meadows, OD has extensive experience in primary eye care, including pediatric eye exams, contact lens fitting, eye surgery co-management, and the treatment and management of ocular disease conditions such as conjunctivitis, lid disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders.

In addition to his work as an optometrist, Dr. Mark Meadows, OD plays a key role in advancing the company’s goals through his business leadership. Dr. Mark Meadows, OD manages the practice’s overall operations, while working diligently to set and meet business objectives.

Dr. Mark Meadows, OD matriculated at the Southern College of Optometry, from which he earned his Doctor of Optometry. Committed to academic excellence, Dr. Mark Meadows, OD graduated Cum Laude with a number of awards, including the Second Year Clinical Skills Award and the Second Year Basic Science Award. Dr. Mark Meadows, OD went on to complete his residency in Family Practice Optometry at West Tennessee Eye.

Dr. Mark Meadows, OD maintains memberships in the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and Tidewater Optometric Society. Dr. Mark Meadows, OD is also a regular volunteer doctor for the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic. Additionally, Dr. Mark Meadows, OD recently oversaw the construction of a 5,000 square foot facility for Eastern Eye Associates Optometrists. The building is located in Hayes, Virginia, and opened on June 1, 2009.
