Mark Odougherty’s dedication to his students is matched only by his skill and experience as a teacher. For the last six years, Mark Odougherty has served public school students in North Carolina, helping them achieve their educational goals. Specializing in English and writing, Mark Odougherty taught in North Carolina public schools from 2003 to 2008. Mark Odougherty assessed student progress and used a number of customized curricula to ensure student engagement. An excellent communicator and multitasker, Mark Odougherty kept in touch with parents and his colleagues while fulfilling all duties required by his district and the state. A modest but accomplished educator, Mark Odougherty was nominated for Teacher of the Year several times during his stay in North Carolina Public Schools, though he declined to accept the award. Mark Odougherty has participated in a number of workshops and presented papers at professional conferences.
